HOW TO CONTACT ME?

All questions regarding my Etsy shop listings, and shop orders placed on Etsy, need to be asked directly on Etsy.  Send me a convo and I will reply within 24 hours.

 

CAN I SHIP TO YOUR COUNTRY AND WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING FEES?

I ship to most countries around the globe, with the exception of countries in the state of war. I also do not ship to Great Britain, and Germany.

The list of countries where I am not able to ship may change.  If you have a question about the country you live in, please contact me.

I offer free shipping on orders in metropolitan France, and to the USA.

​

At this time I do not offer express shipping.

 

GIFT SHOPPING

​

I am delighted when my clients shop My French Maison for their loved ones.  All orders are always carefully wrapped and "ribboned", so when they are received, they delight you, or the recipient of the gift.  If there is a special message you'd like me to include in a gift card, please let me know!

 

RETURNS, EXCHANGES, CANCELLATIONS…

 

Regretfully My French Maison does not accept returns, exchanges, or issues refunds*. All items are vintage or antique. I ask you to read the descriptions carefully, and look at the images before you make a purchase.  I accept cancellations only up to 48 hours after ordering.  No returns will be accepted.

If you have concerns, please contact me via Etsy convo with questions, requests for additional photos, before you make a purchase. I make a lot of effort to ensure that my clients understand the condition of the items at the time of purchase - most of them show some normal use or wear, and in my opinion the patina that comes with age adds real beauty and charm. I will list the condition of the item as accurately as I can. 

All vintage or antique items are sold "as is". Some things will show signs of wear - I will do my best to point out what those are, so there are no surprises when you receive the purchase. I make sure my finds are cleaned and sometimes polished (unless otherwise noted) before I list them, but signs of age will be there.


If you’ve changed your mind and you'd like to cancel your order, please notify me as soon as possible via Etsy convo -  I accept cancellations within 48 hours after purchase.

* In order to comply with consumer protection regulations in the European Union, buyers in the EU have the right to return their order by contacting me within 14 days from receiving the order.  The buyer is responsible for cost of shipping the item(s) back.  The item(s) must be returned within 14 days after informing me of the decision to return, in the original condition.

PLACING AN ORDER

​

Unless specifically mentioned, the products in the My French Maison store are sold without the decorative accessories and photo props that may appear in the photographs of items for sale.  In other words - photo props are not included.

​

The prices of items are listed in euros. VAT not applicable - Article 293B of the Code General des Impots.

Etsy converts the listing currency (euros) to the currency of your country, or your choice.


You will get a confirmation of your order as soon as it is placed. Your purchase is shipped within 3-5 working days after payment has cleared my bank account.

ORDER SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Your purchase will be shipped to the address you provided unless you contact me via Etsy convo and let me know of the changes within the first 48 hours after ordering.  All orders are ready to ship in 3 to 5 business days (unless otherwise noted).

If there are any changes made to the address, or the name of the addressee, your order will need to be cancelled and processed anew. Please note that I cannot take financial responsibility if the delivery address you provided is incorrect or if your item is returned undelivered.

I pack your order securely, taking care to protect it from damage in transport, and ship it from France via La Poste/Colissimo which means that it can take up to 2 weeks for Europe or 3-4 weeks to arrive elsewhere.

After the order is dispatched, all risks are borne by the purchaser.  I am not responsible for delays, custom charges, additional costs, or damage caused in transport.  All import taxes/customs are the responsibility of the buyer - in accordance with the requirements of the country of destination.

 

Attention buyers in countries/states with sales tax - due to differences in state/country laws, you may be responsible for sales tax in your state/country. This includes USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and may include other countries as well.  Also it is possible you will need to pay import duties. Please check with your country's customs service.  As mentioned elsewhere in the shop policies, I am not responsible for additional taxes and/or duties.

TRACKING YOUR ORDER

 

All orders are sent with a tracking number, and require the signature on delivery, which is also my proof of delivery. I send all orders via La Poste/Colissimo from France.  Orders mailed within France are shipped via Colissimo Recommande (livre contre signature). The buyer can select additional insurance at the time of ordering.  My French Maison does not take a responsibility of the timing of the delivery.

Regretfully if an item is LOST or DAMAGED in transit My French Maison claims no responsibility or liability. If you prefer/require additional contents insurance to cover the value of your purchase, please notify me in advance. This can be arranged for you at the additional cost price and added to your order before checkout/payment.  Filing a claim and attempting a reimbursement is the sole responsibility of the buyer. 

A delay in delivery cannot authorize a cancellation, or refund, full or partial, of the order, and may in no case result in compensation payment for the delay or damage by My French Maison.

RECEIVING YOUR ORDER ETC.

 

Your order will require a signature on delivery - this is my proof that the order was received. If your order is returned to me, My French Maison reserves the right to charge the restocking fee of 15% of the order total, and the shipping charges will not be refunded (this includes orders marked "free shipping”).

The orders are delivered to the address indicated by the buyer.  The buyer is responsible to verify the condition of the item at time of delivery.  In case of damage it is buyers’ responsibility to file necessary forms with the postal carrier of their country.
